Shipping and Returns
How long does it take to process the return?

Please allow up to two weeks from the date you mail your item(s) back for your return to be processed—you will receive an email confirmation when complete.

How do I begin the returns process?

Go to our Returns and Exchanges Portal to start your return. Please have your Order Number ready. You will also need either the shipping zip code, email or phone number to verify your identity.

How long does it take to receive my refund?

Once you receive your email indicating your return has been processed, you can expect to receive your credit in 3-5 business days.

Is there a return fee?

Yes. There are shipping and handling fees for returns. This amount is deducted from your refund. Members receive a discounted rate of 50% off the return label or a max of $9, whichever amount is lower.

How do I request a return label?

Start your return process here to receive a return label or QR code that can be scanned at participating USPS/FedEx locations. Our system will help you locate the most convenient one.

How do I make an exchange?

Start your return process here and select a replacement item. Once we receive your return, we will refund the purchase amount to the original form of payment. Please allow up to two weeks for your return to be processed.

Can I include multiple orders in the same package?

At this moment we require that each order be submitted separately and with separate return labels to ensure the quickest processing of your return. We are continuously working to improve our returns process and supporting multiple orders is on the roadmap.

How do I return a gift?

Start your return process here and click on “Start Gift Return Here.” You’ll need the Order Number and either the shipping zip code, email or phone number associated with the order. This information can be found on the packing slip from the original order.

What should I do if my package was lost or stolen?

Carrier issues and delays are quite common. Please contact your carrier to file a missing package claim. Click “Track Package” in your shipping order confirmation email to find the carrier for your package. If the carrier is unable to assist, please reach out to our customer service team for further assistance.

Can I cancel my order after it is placed?

Eligible orders can be canceled for a short time after order placement. To see if cancellation is available, access Order History in your registered account and click Show Order Details. If you do not see the option to cancel, we are unable to process a cancellation. However, once you have received your order, you may return or exchange any eligible items.

Can I change my shipping address or payment method after my order is placed?

We are unable to modify an address or payment method after an order has been submitted. Instead, to see if cancellation is available, access Order History in your registered account and click Show Order Details. If the cancel option is unavailable, we are unable to cancel your order. However, once you have received your order, you may return or exchange any eligible items.

Can I skip a month?

We currently do not support pausing but you can cancel at any time.

Do I have to place an order every single month?

No. But we do encourage you to do so to take advantage of membership benefits like 30% discounts and free shipping.

How do I cancel my account? Can I cancel my membership at any time?

You can cancel your membership from your account portal at any time or by contacting our customer support team membership@goodcounsel.com. There are no termination fees or hidden costs to cancel, but we do not provide refunds or credits, including partially used store credits.

How do I find my size?

You can refer to our size guide to help you find your size. You can find it under the Help Section below or within the Shop the Look experiences.

How do I shop a look?

Simply click on “Shop the Look” and you’ll be shown the available options in that specific look. You can add to your cart directly from the menus.

What if I only want certain items in a look?

You can shop for any number of items in a look. Purchase one or purchase them all for a complete look.

Founding Members
What happens to monthly, quarterly, and on-demand plans?

Our last style boxes went out May 15. If you’re an active Good Counsel member you will receive instructions by email on how to transfer your profile to our new site experience. Come June 1 you’ll be able to browse and shop our full collection.

What happens to my current subscription?

While your old subscription will no longer be active we have great news: Our active members are being offered the first 90 days of our new membership program for free. Membership includes 30% discount, early access to drops, exclusive products, access to our styling team, free shipping, and more.

How do I opt-in to the new membership?

On June 1, before we open to the general public, you will receive a gift card (valued at $90). Simply “buy” the membership with your gift card and you’ll be ready to shop with your 30% member discount.

What happens to my account history?

All of your history will transfer to your new account, when you use the same email address as your current GC membership account.

Do my existing credits apply?

Yes! Any other existing credits will be in your account and can be applied towards membership.

Can I still receive a Styling Box?

Not at this time, but there will be no shortage of styling advice and styled looks to shop from.

Can I still get styling assistance?
